Background Information
EuSA has launched a design of a new interinstitutional training course aimed at equipping EU managers with the skills needed for effective recruitment and selection.
This initiative responds to the evolving EPSO competition model, which now places greater responsibility on managers to assess candidates during interviews, as the assessment centre has been removed. -
Objectives
The course should:
- Provide managers with an overview of the selection and recruitment cycle applicable to the variety of staff categories recruited in EU institutions.
- To develop the capability of EU managers to lead fair, effective and bias-aware recruitment and selection processes under the new decentralised EPSO model — ensuring that each appointment contributes to diversity, excellence and long-term engagement in the European civil service.
