EuSA has launched a design of a new interinstitutional training course aimed at equipping EU managers with the skills needed for effective recruitment and selection.
This initiative responds to the evolving EPSO competition model, which now places greater responsibility on managers to assess candidates during interviews, as the assessment centre has been removed.

The course should empower managers to:

• Critically assess job descriptions and align them with actual team needs.
• Reflect on the type of profiles required, considering team dynamics and future tasks.
• Promote diversity in recruitment, avoiding homogeneity in team composition.
• Understand and mitigate biases throughout the recruitment cycle.
